Walk It Forward SCHOLARS PROGRAM Application
Who Should Apply?
Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a health care-related field of study, fellows and residents in training, or others currently enrolled in healthcare training programs (i.e. nursing students, medical students, physical therapy students, etc.) may all apply.
Applicants must also be available to travel with the team for the full duration of the mission trip. Dates of travel are September 27 - October 4th, 2025.
Applicants will need to submit their academic transcript, CV, and 2 professional letters of recommendation.
Applicant will also be required to submit responses to the following essay questions (500 words or less each).
What does “service” mean to you? Describe how you have acted on this definition in your personal and professional life.
What do you hope to learn from your participation in Operation Walk Pittsburgh and how will you carry those lessons forward in your career and personal life?
